About us
Svenska Köttföretagen is a branch and development company owned by the largest abattoirs in Sweden. Our mission is to provide a range of services and support for a sustainable and profitable Swedish pork, beef and lamb meat production. Svenska Köttföretagen has its main office in Skövde, Sweden. The company operates pig semen produktion in Hudaryd och Hållsta. The turnover in total is approximately SEK 170 million and has 25 employees. Svenska Köttföretagen deliver service and support across two key areas.
World class pig genetics
Svenska Köttföretagen offers semen based on genetics from DanBred, HK Scan and Topigs Norsvin. By providing semen and living gilts we account for world class pig genetics to Swedish pork meat producers.
Industry development and service
Svenska Köttföretagen drives and supports in selected areas, such as animal welfare, climate & environment and meat quality & origin.
We collect and present current statistics from Swedish pork, beef and lamb meat production. And we make current agreements and guidelines available and updated.
